Laurie Maun is a Textile Designer based in Camberwell, South East London. Although Laurie’s core study is textiles, she can also be viewed as a multidisciplinary artist, spreading into mediums such as printmaking, drawing, painting and photography.

She explores and responds to the relationship between texture, colour and shape mostly based on abstract form but also sometimes observational, figurative matter.

With an obsession for slow made/hand made process Laurie focuses on the importance of traditional craft and workmanship within the UK.
