CIARA MONAHAN creates fold-away & light-up headpieces and quirky womenswear, served with a dash of colour & kitsch. All are designed to be easily transportable and to make a standout statement whatever the occasion. Each item is lovingly hand-made by Ciara in her tropical London studio for your wearing pleasure. Ciara studied Fashion at Middlesex University and interned for major London designers Mary Katrantzou, Tatty Devine & Julien Macdonald. The fold-away headpieces were debuted on the catwalks of Berlin Alternative Fashion Week ’15 and FashionClash Maastricht ’14 to compliment Ciara’s garment designs, they have since been balancing on the bonces of festival fashionistas, groups of super sassy hen parties, colourful brides and show-stopping stage performers. Ciara trades at a variety of large events, club nights and UK festivals every year (Wilderness, Secret Garden Party, Mighty Hoopla, RA Lates) and has regularly collaborated with performers from Sink the Pink to create custom headpieces for stage-wear.
